Corrugated Manufacturing
Corrugated boxes are easy to recognize. Corrugated packaging is made of paper and has an arched layer, called "fluting," between smooth sheets, called "liner." The most commonly used corrugated boxing has one layer of fluting between two smooth sheets. However, there are many types of corrugated substrates available, each with different flute sizes and thicknesses.
Corrugated material is extremely durable, versatile, economical, and lightweight, and is used for custom-manufactured shipping containers, packaging and point-of-purchase displays. Approximately 1,500 manufacturing plants in the United States and Canada produce corrugated materials, making it readily available anywhere in North America. Marfred's 100,000-square foot, state-of-the-art print and package manufacturing facility allows us to produce corrugated packaging in-house – up to 4-color, flexographic direct print, as well as 7-color litho-laminated corrugated containers and displays. We custom mix our own inks in-house! Based on your product specifications, we'll manufacture to virtually any size and configuration. Everything we produce is built for maximum strength, efficiency and quality because we know we're not just insulating products – we're presenting your image and protecting your business.
